Truth from a Liar

Truth from a Liar

A Poem by Jose Camacho

In the eyes of a liar
Truth seems to be a fallacy.
He judges by the way he lives,
And fears to be forgotten.

From the hands of a liar,
A brick has been laid.
On a mirror of fog,
The truth can't be revealed.

To a child in a womb,
His life is not yet real.
Like a liar in disguise,
No truth seems to be real.

In bed of truths and lies,
The thoughts we most despise,
Run in minds like wild storms
And shatter me like glass.

Doubt becomes my drug and my addiction,
My mind gives birth to visions of a room.
An unknown touch soon crossed my head--
Lies were not a lie-- They've consumed me.

At the end of the night,
You've then betrayed me twice.
On the third time, as the clock strikes twelve,
I have killed you.

You are a very good writer. Gave life and story to this poem. Lies do gain life and in the end. Strangle the liar. I like he flow of thoughts in the poem and the very good ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
