From The Heart Of My Soul

From The Heart Of My Soul

A Poem by thissensibility

Life’s a heart break

Time’s a gambler

Friends are shadows

Inch by inch life’s a cinch

Yard by yard life is hard

Keep your fingers crossed

Who else will pay the cost?

Life seems nice

But someone’s paying a price

Roll the dice twice

Ice up the spice

Contradict the hypocrisy

Restrict the autocracy

Depict the democracy

Evict the bureaucracy

Don’t grudge when you judge

Don’t begrudge when you misjudge

He cried when she left

She guessed she felt blessed

And that made him feel depressed

Someone throw him a life vest

Variety is propriety

But society is notoriety

Anxiety or sobriety

Please don’t judge my impropriety

Time is a loaner

You are the owner

I’m not a moaner

These are the simple thoughts of a loner

This is amazing!
The beat and the flow just bam, bam, bam, bam!
The rhyme scheme is flawless.
I love this!
