The Temple in the Sky

The Temple in the Sky

A Poem by Thomas Kainaroi

See the star-filled sanctuary,
The temple in the sky.
Rotating its countless spirits
Into the sun.

Seek beyond the veil.
Call into the darkness
And communicate the riddles.
Now fall asleep.

One hundred dancers,
A timeless ceremony.
Going their way upon glass floors.
Secret words are spoken.

From a near and yet distant circle,
Look in all directions at once,
And travel the paths undecided
Into the sun.

Always into the sun.
