Plexiglass Strongholds

Plexiglass Strongholds

A Poem by Thomas Kainaroi

Built of jewels,
And programmed circumstances
And thrown on wash cloths.
Look upon that glowing world.

Grasp its magic,
Consume its illusions.
Become hollow,
Become today.

Draw your eyes
Into the clouded soul.
Do you see what you wish?
Do you see as you wish?

Observe as I step outside
Of the plexiglass strongholds.

My spirit is not for sale.

Electronic promises are yours to lose.
Now, look upon the self
And become love.
