Stop Motion

Stop Motion

A Poem by Thomas Kainaroi

Consuming the hours
To devour the minutes,
And to make life a transparency.
My eyes can not follow the action.

The effect is not a cause.

We will plug ourselves in,
All of us, all of them.
Insert the electronic chorus,
And the gears will twist the call.

Lightning escapes the eyes,
For I saw temples and
Lonely fields of sunshine mirrors
And a princess drifting in clouds of sorrow.
