I See You

I See You

A Poem by Thomas Kainaroi

The ships go sailing
Upon the face of the world,
Taking us places
That rest inside the self.

Rotating mirrors
And glass hallways
Breath in and out.

I wonder, can I see you again
Standing there in eternity,
As if you never left?

This question I must ask,
For I see you now.
It is a dream, I know,
But a dream of the truest kind.
