Our love is bigger than paper. It's made of flesh and bone and blood. Words can't tear it apart. Distance won't taint it. My spirit groans without you. My soul feels empty and alone. I feel like a ghost wandering, lost, like a blowing leaf. Grief has become me. I hunger for you. Feed me. I think of you there, lonely and afraid. I want to take you in my arms and hold you, until the rain stops.

This one brought immense sorrow to the forefront of my mind. There ARE moments when we can only bear witness to pains that returned too often within our lives. I guess such pain marks our souls indelibly and our memories - well, they caress our thoughts just to show us what mattered after all.

This one expresses a love of the deepest sort. One does get the hint that some separation has taken place, and the speaker does not have access to the one he loves. Thus the sense of deprivation and desperation, and the deep desire for reunion, so that the rain may stop.
