Modern-Day Nursery Rhymes

Modern-Day Nursery Rhymes

A Poem by Thorin.Olsen
"

Two short satirical adaptations of classic nursery rhymes based on the modern world.

"

Little Jack Horner sat in the corner

as he sucked on his thumb and sighed,

“the economy’s crap and you get sick from tap,

why must all these worries be mine?”

Little Miss Muffet was leaving the buffet

when she ran into a creepy old man.

He said she looked dandy and offered her candy,

before the poor girl got in his van.

I'll probably add to this post when and if I come up with more of these. As always, let me know what you think, and much love.
