It, was him.

It, was him.

A Poem by tiana hernandez

The thoughts of you in her head
While she lays at night on her bed
Darkness with not sight
Wishing at this night
She could hold you tight
When will it be?
When will it see?
When all she did was try
And it pushed her away to dry

Her feelings were strong
Now she questions was it wrong?
Was it wrong to fall?
When at night she answered its call?
Was it wrong to talk?
When those “five minutes” you two walked
Was it wrong to laugh?
When photos became craft

It was all unknown
When she lays in bed alone
Without her from ring
Or without being on the phone hearing you sing
It was somewhat something she realized she got used to
But that was not what it had realized too

So here she remains in the darkness
Full of sadness
But this is reality
So she’ll come to the light more happily
You were good, it
But, she is done staying to sit
Watch your success
And not worried about her stress
Watch your happiness
And not worry about her sadness
It didn’t need her
It thought she was its cure
But what it really was, was lust
And the feelings faded away into dust
For her forever
And for it was never
It had a feelings for a while
But little by little it became in denial

Questioned about her she stays
As the goes to sleep for days
