The Pause of Us

The Pause of Us

A Poem by tiana hernandez

I'd love to love you like it was my last breathe
Breathing slowly but passionately in depth
I'd love to hold you till I have no more strength
And to kiss you as if it'll be the last
The last action I take
The last decision I make
Hands in hands
Never know what's the future's plans
I choose to not reminisce
But truth is I can't dismiss
Dismiss the lovely times
The time's where you were really mines
Im not sure what the future holds
Or if tomorrow it all folds
But I pray the truth be told
The truth that we are meant to be
The truth where we are all we see
Lost in a crowd but all we see are eachother
Lost in the summer
Of the memories we cherish under
Its scary to say "whats meant to be will be"
But truth is time will tell and we will see
I'd love you then, and id love you now
But forever I'd love you without knowing how
