Curiosity Killed The Cat

Curiosity Killed The Cat

A Poem by Richard Mueller
"

That cat has lived time and time again, one more won't hurt

"
Closer to the edge of a cliff I never wanted to be close to
My feet are wandering unconsciously, off the edge I threw
Myself because I really wanted to see what was down below
Curiosity killed the cat I heard, again and again, although
9 lives is a long way to go, so I'll just be curious 8 times so I can ditch death
And I swear, I'll live to take another step, another

Breath.
