A Poem by MaCayla Mae

hands fingers
mouths and tongues
chests and eyes
almost turning
into a literal womb.
you apologize for the noise
your body makes
when you roll over.
fall asleep without pulling
your underwear up
all the way.
it hurts when
you go to the bathroom
but you knew it was
all going to rot
from the second you
continued to lay on the floor
next to the toilet
while he went
and slept soundly.
They've all had their palms
in the same spots
on the back of your head
but never notice
the new makeup stains
on you pillow.
