You don’t have to love me anymore

 I’m finally okay

The days aren’t so blue now

For a minute I thought I would never smile again

 For a minute I felt like my life was going to end

 I was crumbling inside

The tears I couldn’t hide

It was damaging to my pride

How easy it was for you to leave my side

And I felt I was just some game

Just another face, another name

And I experienced such pain

Inside of me

 But I fell down of my knees

And I started to pray

Iwas so out of words

 I didn’t know what to say

But an angel came down

And tended these wounds

And a Voice from within

Gave me strength to resume

I don’t need you anymore

 I can pass this test

I don’t want you anymore

This is really for the best

 I deserve so much more

But I was willing to settle for less

Won’t do that again

Not even for a so called friend

So here’s to goodbye

 I’m down to my last cry

I’m finally okay

I felt such a transformation in how you started saying what you did do....kinda what did happen... you stated the facts.. and put it all on teh table for the reader to see then from there you garnered your strength!! fused all that was on the table into what compriesed your energy and moved forward with a dilevery simple and yet very detailed. Detailed in the swiff ending ... the aftertaste it left... or at least left me!! Once again, you ceaase to amaze me!

A truly touching recounting of healing and determination. The short lines and unobtrusive use of rhyme make this a very readable and emotional piece.

Two suggestions:

"But I fell down of my knees" should be "down TO my knees"?

Two lines down there should be a space between "I" and "was".
