Life challanges blossom souls ready and willing to grow~

Inside of me,

There is this light,

Brightly shining and ever burning life,

 

This World misunderstands the symphony within me,

So blinded,

Because I am blinding at times.

 

While darkness scatters,

From my touch,

Hurt disperses,

and I thought I had wilted.

 

Not hardly so, because I thrive…

 

Dainty morsels of my being,

My soul sings, and love,

 Yes love, is the trophy that adorns me.

 My victory is discovered in my laughter at bitterness.

My triumph is my how Well my heart still works.

 

Beaten and broken,

Crushed and hard pressed,

Meant to be dead, but still living.

 

I know…

 

 What confounds the minds of those,

That just don’t get me.

 

My will to grow,

 Threatens their complacency.

So I beg their pardon as I see.

A new reflection of myself.

 

Love adorns me…

A miracle that never dies..

But lives anyway…

 

Even when they said I wouldn’t

Even when I thought I couldn’t

And even when I stopped believing

God still believed in me…

 

So here I stand,

 No more or less than I was before..

But  more or less, so sure.

 

That I have won.

Not by things measured by hands,

 or weights or balance.

Not by talents…

But I have gained things that are priceless…

Things that can never be taken away.

 

I have Truth…

Inside of me,

There is this light….
