A dark poem of vampire love and loss.

Falling down from the skies

Tell me how it burns

And how it feels tonight

There's no Heaven above

There's no Hell below

Tell me, my angel

How could you let go

Falling into my arms

Do you feel how it hurts

As I enter your heart

There's no God in the sky

The only devil is me

Beg me, my angel

To set your soul free

 

I could release you

From the pain you feel inside

It seemed to start out as a beautiful love poem, but turned dark somewhere along the way.

Nicely written... I loved the flow of this one...really nice meter and tone. The story within in the poem is also quite beautiful...delicate and tragic at the same time. Nicely done.
