Crows in the Sky

Crows in the Sky

A Poem by Anor

Crows up in the night sky
Little, insignificant clouds,
Melting into the greater shadow.

Traitors soar ahead, to the edge of the dark
Seeking the glory of blossoming day,
For which they are shunned.

Eyes burning, the murder arrives
And the Others fall off the ceiling of the world
Like veiled stars.

"They are gone, they were beasts
Driven by brutish ambition", they caw.
None of them were truly noble.

Very proud of this poem for some reason. It reads like one would read a truth. There is good wisdom here.I do think that in the third stanza saying"like sinking stars" wasn't needed. Again I really like this poem. This is something I'd carry around with me to read every now and then. Good Work.
