Destiny

Destiny

A Poem by Joe Schroth
"

Written in honor of my best friend who is suffering from leukemia.

"
Long brown hair and hazel eyes, a face filled with no hate. Always smiling to everyone, she always leaves the world glowing. Hands so soft like a baby`s blanket, entwine in mine bringing solace. Always there at the worst, and the best times. In her time of distress I will be the one who is there for her, like she has done for me. Wires and tubes hooked up to beeping machines, are a normal sight to her as of today, three months in its a story of horror, the once happy girl is surely a goner.
