Lost deep in the woods

She grows a fire to numb her hands

She steps apart from holy ground

And falls to the dark lands bemused she smiles

She strains to hold on to the thoughts of her life

She falls again and wipes her smile

She figures she can and so indeed she does

For how long will all this last?

Her sanity falls to brinks of the past

Shattered from beyond

Her words leave aghast

She succumbs to the passion

Her confusion it spreads
