Yesterday I had no Internet

A thought about the relation between internet and drugs.

Yesterday I had no internet and... well, I started wondering about our little situation.

I find the internet user to be somehow similar to the drug user.

He starts just to fit in, to be cool and not to be outdated.

After a few new friends here and there, he discovers everyone is using it.

It starts with 14, 28, maybe 56. Suddenly, he is using things with complicated names such as DSL.
Sometimes, after surfing aimlessly, he says he will take his life back.
But then appears a red "1" on the corner of his eyes, and he forgets everything he was talking about.
