a tale so bold

to tell a tale so bold
   or so I've been told from the days of old
starts on a dreary night
  where weary people milling about
one teary lady stands out
  caught between sorrow and grief
for her husbands life was brief
   taken by another
sadly her mother
   turning for her brother for comfort
but finds him unstable

A very interesting poem, to say the least. It holds a lot of power and emotion. I especially enjoy the way you've broken it and the formation in which you positioned / written the poem! It was a little confusing, as the end felt left open with the abrupt change in flow and the lack of rhyme; otherwise it was still a marvelous little piece of work! I enjoyed reading it. :)
