A Moonlight Dance

A Moonlight Dance

A Poem by trinityluv122

As the sun floats down through the twilight

seeing your face in each shape of a cloud

Your mesmerizing,

enchanting and hypnotizing my soul

When each string is strummed

so tenderly on your guitar

A single touch from your soft hands

makes my body feel wanted and loved

Am I Beautiful?

I believe I am when I am with you,

fearing the loss of what has grown between us,

that look of love

a stare in frozen emotion of pure bliss

Our laughter

reminds me of a moonlight dance

that is filled with mischievous moments

of wonder and childlike playfulness

At times I am quiet,

contemplating reaching for that falling star

to make the wish come true,

capturing it in hope of tremendous energy and love

Am I falling in love? with an angel sent from heaven,

a saint in my eyes

an inspiration to take me on a journey

that will change my perception of the truth

about how a man should  love a woman

It's a beautiful story, but I do not feel the rhythm. Paring down the words may help.
