The story behind this poen is a heart felt one... I am Very close to my sister, Christy, and she was there for me Everyday last year throughout my pregnancy. That meant so much to me, so I decided to write a poem for her and asked her to be the God Moth

 

The Reasons Why She Is Godmother

 

She shines with a light that draws you in

Makes your sad day happy again

Someone who will drop everything to be by your side

Gives more than she takes

Lends her shoulder for you to cry

 

Lives life to the fullest

A glass full kind of gal

Knows who she is and what she wants

Tells it like she sees it

That’s just her style

 

While making a difference in the outside world

She’ll make a difference in your life

As well as in her own world

Her home

As a Mommy and Wife

 

She cherishes her friends

Even her enemies she keeps close

Forgives and forgets

She lets the past go

 

She creates memories that are everlasting

A planner to the core

She works hard for just that smile

Asking for nothing more

 

So if we die before we wake

Our child is in her hands to take

                         

These reasons are how we want our lil man to be

So blessed we are to have a Godmother as sweet as she
