Dream

Dream

A Poem by Krutika

The life dies.
The stars shine.
Beneath those clouds,
The lights chime.
In your head,
Your conquered kingdom.
Yet another world.
Created by a prince.
Where words fail to define,
What could be held within.
Skies of green,
And rivers of pink.
When the choices are yours,
Mediocre won't be a cure.
Where boundless time knew,
Where infinity grew.
Something not yours,
Yet created by you.
Not this served world.
Something much absurd.
A world beneath yours.
A kingdom at loss.
Something so surreal,
You'd never find here.
No place like this you'll ever know.
When at night this world glow,
Dances with life yet never seen.
You'd have to be me,
To know what my dream longs to be.
