Park Bench

Park Bench

A Poem by Ty
"

We Meet Again.

"
We meet again.
Park bench after midnight,
Tuesday Déjà Vu.
Soothing painting of these exchanges stained in warm intimate wit and banter.
Stories of muse, the fiends and phantoms.
And a cashmere and vinyl fragile balancing act,
Of a nervous man on a shifty tightrope.
And you, your grace and poise.
I'll tell you this is harder apart,
A Marcus Garvey heart to heart art.
Our needs, or wants,
Our shift, this swift urban breeze.
Certainly, purposefully inserting these thoughts.
And each shade of a rose,
Dark cherry blossoms and Terracotta,
In my mind a crowd of tourists in chaos.
But truthfully a place you've erased,
Deeply immersed in, splashing, elated,
You and me.
Déjà Vu,
We meet again.
