Its Over, But�

A poem that shows how even if you get over someone, you still love them, but more like a friend who will never let them down, or at the very least you still care about them.

 I know its over between us

but I still love that smile you give me

and the compliments on my hair

and the conversations we have

There’s something inside me 

that wishes it would have worked out

but I know it never could

I just want to thank you

for never leaving me

and sticking out the bad times,

for your support

and encouragement

and above all,

your friendship

I thank you from the bottom of my heart

you are still my friend

and you will always be with me

so I will always love you
