“lye steady in spite of my hands”
is likely to appear rehearsed
in contrast to the veneer presented by
Jenny (floating to the shore) …
… a manifestation of abuse referred to as
“an acquisition
renowned for allusiveness and impenetrable skin”
or
“the obligatory w***e”
demanding discipline
from the press she finally expects to address
