The dark is done!

 

The light has won!

 

The greens and azures cling

Like painted lovers to a bliss-

 

Let Earth rejoice in spring!

 

It is a feat, unmatchable,

The happy sun’s bright plume,

 

Raised high above the hopes below,

In which the blossoms bloom

 

Therefore, shouts ring

In praise of spring �"

 In triumph, one and all

 

And wake the dreamer in the man

To whom its gifts befall

 

The dark is done!

Rejoice in everything

Whose new day comes

 

But in a bud �"
