An Immortal Dedication

A poem about impossible circumstances.

Through the cosmos,

Through the tears,

I have loved you all these years.

 

In times of pain,

And times of sorrow,

I won’t be wishing for tomorrow

 

Because just being with you

Makes me so glad

I don’t really care about the bad.

 

I have waited all these years

To catch a glimpse of your face

I didn’t think you’d be in this place.

 

But I don’t care,

Because I love you

This I know is true.

 

Separated by time itself

For you, it is a day,

For me, years have gone away.

 

We live in two different universes,

Seperated by the walls of reality

Our romance can never truly be free.

 

But I don’t mind.

Even as the distance grows

This love inside of me still glows.

 

I never change when you see me,

I never grow any older

This world around me just gets colder.

 

Even when all the universes end

When all the stars collide,

I still will not have died.

 

But do not worry for me, for even after you are gone,

In the dark, I will cherish our times together,

And sit here eternally, loving you forever.
