Lonely Lover

Lonely Lover

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Lonely Lover

long after

the kiss
has left,

and the
lover

indeed
goes on
(back)
out into
the world,

lazing
down in

the sheets
of blue...

she prays
that

no wife
is he

headin' now
to meet
