Strength, Hope, and Love

Strength, Hope, and Love

A Poem by Tylar Salter

         Let the wind move.

Let the Earth guide you.

Let love be your fortress

 I will move you.

I will guide you.

I will be your fortress.

Love is hope.

You are hope.

I am hope.

Hope I will guide you.

Love that hope will guide you.

Let hope, through love, be your fortress.

Wind is gentle.

It moves us.

It loves us.

Let me be wind.

Let me move you.

Let me love you.

I am the Earth.

I am strong.

I will be your fortress.

Give me strength to help you.

Give me hope to guide you.

Give me Love to give it back to you.

This is such a sweet poem! I bet she will love it. The consistent use of repetition particularly has a profound effect, as it drives the point home that you are sincere in your desire to protect her and love her. The themes of protection and love shine through very clearly. It also has the subliminal message that if one holds onto hope, then they will be protected from despair no matter the circumstances. Awesome poem.
