A poem displaying our corrupt media in America.

I wake up in the morning, turn the news on to see what they have to say,
“Another shooting took place here today,”
Jesus Christ can we not kill each other for just one day?
People dying every second that goes by,
Almost no one caring,
It bring tears to these eyes,
It’s a blood-soaked America filled up to the brim with violence,
We ask God why? And all we get is a turned back and nothing but silence, 
Change the channel, “Up next is Teen Mom”,
Is this really what we’ve become?
Sitting on the couch watching this crap and eating some noms,
These b*****s are getting pregnant like it’s a goddamn contest, 
In front of the camera, “I’m not ready but I’ll do my best.”
Change the channel, “Up next, Here comes Honey Boo Boo”,
Oh my god, I’d rather have my a*s whooped by gangbangers than watch this crap,

How this is actual television is beyond me,
I’ll take a spoon and rip my eyes out,
I don’t wanna see this atrocity anymore I just wanna be free,
I’m sorry for this rant and rave,
But this s**t makes me sick to my stomach I just couldn’t take it to my grave,
So this is it America, 
This is the world we live in,
We make television from what God says is a sin, 
This is my shout-out for those who feel the same as me,
I want you to open your eyes so you can see what I see
