Will & Fate

Will & Fate

A Poem by JF Lobster
"

they love and hate

"
Will and Fate
they love and hate
yet never in dismay

to them all is bound
around them all revolves around
tugging forever endlessly

although Fate will win
Will never gives in
hoping to change what is destined to be

Fate says to Will
her voice tender but irksome still
my god if you could only see

Will cries to Fate
my own path shall I take
never shall you decree

the two rage on
like lovers once but now love gone
together forever but always opposed

Will knows all is futile
but existence is meaning! Powerful!
his purpose never to be thrown away

soon Fate will win
but until then the day belongs to him
to mold and shape in his own way

then comes the day
that Will he fades away
Fate takes him unto her embrace

Fate comes to know
all that Will had to show
only thus can she ever truly dream

what was his is now hers
to do with as she pleases
his spirit broken, power lost

she hates and yet loves him
breaks but yet mourns him
sadly infinite more will she take

but Will is never truly gone
he is reborn and yet lives on
ready to fight for all that could be

he is not one but many
forever Fate's immortal loving enemy
he lives on eternal in you and me
