Waking up in a prison cell, the main character who I haven't named, knows he's got 15 years of time to spend for murder. He got prosecuted over a small coincidence. This novel looks back at the time leading up to that point, and how he got there.
I need to read crime books and watch crime documentaries to get ideas for crimes for this.
