There is a demon

And there is peace

In our head the former will tease

To get the worst in you

To make you weak

The demon will never let you speak

When you open your mouth

You will always throw hatred

When you are alone the demon will feed

Let there be peace

Let the sunshine

Think that everything best is just mine

Have faith in yourself

Let the demon not dwell

Give it on its face

And make it a swell

There will be peace

And your worries will cease

Ah the title is appropriate.
Those demons inside us are our worst enemy. They can destroy us!
But the one who knows how to control them can do anything.
Controlling our demons isn't easy but if we do then there are so many better things ahead.
There is always a ray of sunshine in the darkness.
