Friends we dont need

Friends we don’t need
Category: Writing and Poetry

We all want good friends in life
But must be careful of their knife
Many times they may attack
Sticking it's sharp edge in your back
They want to step in and give a hand
As they sneak to the place that you stand
They act like all is fair
Even like they really care
Yet when it all comes to light
Their selves are all that's in their sight
With you they may agree
Just to get what they can for free
One day you finally get some relief
And see just what's underneath
Wolves in the sheepskin
It's easier to back away and let them win
But they act like it's a strain
And their is always someone else to blame
Crook of themselves they would  make
 If responsibility they would  take
Hopefully we'll see through them soon
And quickly lower down the boom!
Yet they talk and we wait
Looking like a fool when it's to late!
