Forgetfulness

Forgetfulness

A Poem by Calypso

Tonight is only a fling.

A whimsical desire set

 in burning passion

 and suffocating depression.

Acidic pineapple run across my bleeding lips.

The excitement causes my heart to race.

Those pineapples remind me of you.

No this is not a love poem,

this is only a daydream in the form of

 human blessed words.

Ever wonder what the point

When we are nothing but hamsters in a wheel.

Forget what matters

And remember other's needs.
