Sour Love

Sour Love

A Poem by Calypso
"

A ghost? love poem.

"

This is the end.

I can no longer feel.

I can no longer see,

yet I can sense you.

Like me.

You're on the verge of forever

and yesterday.

Like me.

Connected together

by our soul.

Even in death I’m

waiting for your next move.

My ghost screams,

as I watch you.

I stalk you,

haunt this home.

You try to stay strong

for your family and friends.

But only I see you cry

over my grave.

Some how though

you’ve moved on!

You promised even in death

to love me.

Yet you’ve found

Another women!

Did my horrible death

mean nothing?

Do you not know

I’m with you

Where even you go?

I’m inside your soul.

My corpse stays frozen

in time

hungry

for your touch.

Yet those hands are

Holding her,

Loving her

And not me.

That’s why

You see my see

Now. My ghosts

Can kill.

Now you're beside me

in your grave.

And away from her.

Forever.

Great poem! It wasn't hard to follow at all. The flow of the poem was very good and I really liked it! There are so many good things about this poem that I could say. While reading it, I felt so many emotions coming from this writing such as anger, sadness, and yearning. I also felt an eerie feeling while reading this. Overall, it was a great poem and I enjoyed reading it! :D

How bitter and jealous love can make us, eh? Very nice poem, didn't find it difficult to follow. I enjoyed reading it.
Not being critical, just trying to be helpful, the second line of the first stanza, should "fell" be "feel"? And the second line of the second stanza should your be you're? Typos are common though and don't detract from this piece, it was still very nice and slightly morbid.
