Old Mister

Old Mister

A Poem by Calypso

There was a man

who never brushed his teeth.

And had a child

with the of Heath

He had a living

of making bricks

Then went home

to his cake mix.

There came a time

when his dog

was let out to pee

and he fell in a bog

Hid house burned down

because his old cat

swatted at a lit candle.

now he lives with the bats

His neighbor came to his house

for a cup of sugar

and it turned out to

be the thief Paul Rueger

And he lost everything

he’d over owned,

except a phone and telemarketers

have been calling his home.

The O’ Mister

waited for his life to unfurl

and despite his wife running away

he still loved the world
