Rays Of Light

Rays Of Light

A Poem by underwriter

The glorious rays upon my face,

make me feel so warm, so safe.

They play hide and seek amongst the leaves,

playing ‘peek-a-boo’ with the trees.

They shine through glistening raindrops,

painting the sky with wondrous colours.

At the end of which…a gold pot stops,

a beauty that reassures.

This beautiful gift of light unbound,

is known throughout the world renowned.

Yet have they ever stopped to think,

who created the marvellous thing.

These rays of light, that bring,

Pure delight.

Thank You LORD
