Weight

Weight

A Poem by undisclosed
"

Carrying the weight, the burden.

"

I am your shoulder to cry on,

I am his shoulder to cry on,

And I am her shoulder to cry on,

Yet, I cry alone.

I am your confession booth,

I am his confession booth,

And I am her confession booth,

Yet, my confessions remain in me.

All remains inside of me,

My confessions, my thoughts.

Your confessions, your thoughts,

His confessions and his thoughts,

Her confessions and her thoughts.

My shoulders are wet,

And they are heavy,

Heavy with the weight of everyone’s tears,

Yet, my heart it heavy,

Because my own tears remain trapped in my heart.

When is it my turn?

Where is my shoulder to cry on?

Where is my confession booth to rant?

I am alone, suffering my own pain,

While everyone else is fine,

Because I carry their burden too.
