Fighting on

Fighting on

Author's Note

Harley (arbiter)
Old scars are gone
But they still haunt me
Past events
Coming back
With malevolent glee
They always attack
And I'm never ready
Can never fight back
No matter how much I try
The only escape is to die
But I refuse to cry
And I fight on
Keep strong
Where others would fall
I rise above it all
Again
Again
Again
And then
It stops
Calm
I fall into a safe groove
And when my defenses are down
They come back and make me frown
But again I stand
Holding no-ones hand
One man
Against a million
I survive
Still alive
Yes I falter
I'm only human
And sometimes
It really hurts
But still
Somehow
I'm still here now
Fighting on
And the war has just begun

Wow dude. Nicely expressed, written, and definetly felt. I didn't see a mistake, or a part where the original rhythem broke. FLAWLESS VICTORY!
