Immortal feeling

Immortal feeling

A Poem by Vaida Ledzin

I drink the flares of the new day

Transparent and pure

Like the spatter of the wine.

I get dizzy from the spoken words

Maybe mean, but sweet to the heart.

I listen to the rustling leaves

Senseless, but anyway so loud.

I can see sun rays ripening above

Warm and bright like the stars up in the sky.

However, the day ends again

And with it my immortal feeling …

As today, so is tomorrow

I drink, get dizzy, listen and see -

You,-

Reborn in a new feeling …

Each and every day is a gift, don't you think? But, one is never the same as the previous. To stop looking because of a mere calendar would waste vision, hope - life. Perhaps. That is how I interpret your beautiful words, calm but very visual as they are.

Once they are written, our words become immortal as well. Just like our memories.

You have a beautiful name!
