my dream

I was standing alone

My pals left me alone there

No one was around

I was in crowd but still so alone

That emptiness was less than the emptiness in my heart,

When pals walked away, I realized my mistake

I fought with the world for my pals who were never mine

I fought for those fakers who never made me smile

I fought with my family for those who don’t bother who "I am"

They left me I felt so broken inside my heart

But suddenly I felt a touch on my shoulder.

Yeah! It was my family…they were there

I hugged my mom and cried so hard

I felt sorry for my friends 

They never trusted me as I did…

They never cared as I did

But then reality was there…my dream broke…

I was awake…I was so amazed that it was just a dream

But the tears in my eyes were very true…

I was crying in reality. I was so hurted

B’coz somewhere this dream was related to my real life

The things which I suffered in reality became a nightmare

 

Yeah! It was just a dream but more true than reality

In reality I hide but in dream I was just “ME

Good write. I think this is something all of us go through at one time or another. It shows who we will always be able to rely on, even though that is not always the person or people we relate with the best. Most families are always going to have that bond, just there will be times when they don't understand so well.

Friends will come and go for the most part. Only a few make it through all the changes in life through high school and beyond.

I really enjoyed this. I have personally had so many dreams like this in which I wake up crying in reality like I had been in my dream. And I am so convinced that what happened was real. I have to tell myself it wasn't.

"The things which I suffered in reality became a nightmare" That has to be my favorite line right there. Those things that we push aside while awake only come back to haunt us while we sleep and are the most off guard.

hmm sounds like something that everyone goes through atleast once in their lifetimes, and the beauty of life is that your experiences teach you, especially the bad ones.
i like this, its like a warning, or a prevention of this situation occurring to someone else.
i loved the lind; "Yeah! It was just a dream but more true than reality" thats quite a comparison, and a powerful one indeed!

Wow!! This was beautiful...
I found such a deep sadness and that feeling of being lost and broken inside in your words...Friends are for life but not every friend will support us and will accept us the way we are...And they will leave you alone as they did in your dream, but the virtue of this life is not will you stick with that pain but how will move on with the experience...and I guess its better that you realized the significance of your dream...which really changed your reality!
