Unravel

Aboard this tired sack of skin,

My mind yearns to taste you

Windy and resolute my kindred soul

Never, says I, will my love go untold

Throbbing beat, fiercer still

A wolf mates for life

I offer you this life

I need no other

You are my exotic

And my chaotic

In grim and grit still you come

Heedless, and shameless some

You alone my eyes seek

Passion is yours and mine to keep

Rest here

Battlefield or politics, I will stay

I open my heart for you alone

Only your lips shall touch mine

In storm and sun I stand

With open arms, fear not

I am waiting.
