Whimsical Dawn

Whimsical Dawn

A Poem by Vampire Heart

Drifting tides of life shift with silver moon

breaking waves, like tears, against such sharp rocks,

rhythmic crescendo, universal tune.

Cosmic revelations singing song knocks

upon the door where comets do zoom, cross

the vast twilight expanse of night’s blooming

visions of winking souls consoling, loss

on horizon cries silently, looming

like a shadow creeping down the mountain

in wake of dawn’s sweet serenading song.

The blush of sun rises like a fountain

with the backdrop of sleeping stars’ throng

of dreaming drums cascading waterfalls

lull the mind awake, heed whimsical calls

And this endeavor has painted a wonderful nightscape. The silver moon, in its different phases still shine beauty shared by all poets.

An inspiring piece
