Unleash the demons

Write a story where the protagonist does something you'd never do.

'Why do you keep doing this to yourself?' he asked rather angrily, they had only been talking about her future nothing else, the fact that she had not yet decided whether she wanted to go to the military or to medical school seemed to upset him. She remained quiet. 'Why do you  keep bringing up options about things that you'd like to do, you just  have to choose!' he yelled smashing his fist against the table. She blinked away the tears and avoided his eyes 'I-I' she tried to say. 'I-I' he repeated mockingly 'there's always and excuse'. She knew he would not stop so she stood up and yelled 'I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WANT' she paused, enjoying the surprised expression in his face 'And I like not to know, because there are so many possibilities. Damn it. Leave me to be. And I don't care whether that means not looking at you again because believe me the only person who needs anyone here is you. I have had enough. I am done' she finished walking away.
