For every word

For every word

A Poem by Venus Ever
"

Just something that ran through my mind. The way people say and ask, and expect an accurate answer from us.

"
For every word you ever said,
One heart started to fade
For every question you ever asked,
A future shattered ahead
"What will you be?"
What can I be? When the future ahead of me, I cannot see.
"What is your dream?"
What it is, nothing but a violent stream.
For every word you ever said,
For every question ever asked,
My heart started to fade,
And my future shattered ahead

I had to read this twice to understand it. I like it. I guess in a way these questions do shatter our dreams and plans, but maybe when the shattering is done; the dream and plan we were meant to follow is the one that still remains =)
