Our Lives

Our Lives

A Poem by Victoria
"

you know when you're sitting in your car waiting for somebody to come out of somewhere and you're just thinking? yeah. this was that.

"
A dragon fly
A dead rabbi
An alien from mars.

A zoot suit
Italian flute
Two really yellow cars.

A toiling son
Abe Lincoln
A cheerio freight car.

A monkey boot
Banana root
My only lover, Lars.

Trident gum
Sherwin William
My second to third good par.

Some chicken feet
Lenten meat
Something about the stars.

A paved road
An angry toad
Annoying girl twi-hards.

A sleeping child
Chipotle, mild
unrequited wars.
