Mezzo Forte for The Fairy June Bride

Mezzo Forte for The Fairy June Bride

A Poem by Julius Whitfield

Skin deep in a fallen lust

writhing succubus rubes

Making a needless fuss

and your proud scowl with your gin soaked scent

has painted your bluff and it's quite obvious now

that your nascent is brittle just like your mind has been proving again

now i'm standing in the middle of a scourging sun

it coddles me and i can feel it while you're bickering again; i can hear it

you

are

so

malevolent

Stop

Trying

to

Play

Heaven

Sent

This world is around and beneath us

You need to realize, it doesn't exactly revolve around you

Killing

and seeing

and living

and loving

without

knowing

and gloating

on something

you're expecting

is believing

and not belittling

yourself and those around you

Get that smug look off of your face

You don't have a clue what's become of you

i remember when you soothed on down and flush yourself right into my arms, entangling our fingers together

Now you

are

quite

malevolent

Stop

pretending

you're

Heaven

Sent

it lies here beneath us and we watch it with stone perplexity

are we finally spoiled?

Ignorance and shallow, imperfect from the seed?

just a shadow of the mother?

a secondary wind that will ruin in rapture; was this the promise made?

listen up and in acclaim, show us some exigency
