Vitiligo (Skin and Victim of the Teliko)

Vitiligo (Skin and Victim of the Teliko)

A Poem by Julius Whitfield

wear the flames proud

'round your arms

i'll watch them glut

glut like a disease

engulf away

pass the skin shed

don't you hear it

voices crackling

crackling as the bones shed

crackling as the ghost bestrides

subtle eyes of beguile

fed noises of greif

freif from the ashes

greif from the choices to survive such a disgorge

rough patters h ave been carressing you

reaping your skin

from the beginning of this dance

you retch, choke and succumb

and it compresses your soul

you wallow in exile

searing your flesh

havesting an albino sky

it's in your arms

lays carressed by a naked compassion

it's here weakening you

bleeding as you're screaming
